THIS ACCESSORY IS IDEAL FOR:
RemovingThicker/Soft coatings like mastics, tacky paint, resins, tar, fiberglass, certain glues and adhesives, ice and industrial buildups. Generally removes tacky coatings thicker than 1/16 of an inch and soft enough to cut with a knife.
**IMPORTANT** Usually, A good rule of thumb Any soft material that can be cut with a utility knife, or can be removed with a paint scraper, the Strip-Serts will probably remove the coating. Sometimes, coatings need a combination of accessories, for example, after use of the Strip-Serts there might be some of the coating that the Strips-Serts simply will not remove. For these stubborn areas of the coating go back over the floor with Dyma-Dots or Dyma-Segs. Some jobs may require use of various accessories to achieve desired results.
Strip-Serts use carbide tipped blocks to strip away coatings and clean floors without grinding into the concrete. It s replaceable, multi-sided tungsten carbide blocks can be rotated for maximum use

Strip-Serts under perfect conditions should last 8,000-10,000 square feet sometimes they can last longer than that depending on the type of coating removal.
Strip-Serts have a replaceable, multi-sided tungsten carbide edge that can be rotated for maximum use. Each piece of tungsten carbide has 4 edges.
*WARNING* Strip-Serts are designed to strip away coatings not to grind concrete. Grinding concrete with Strip Serts will dull the sharp edges quickly causing the grinding action to stop.
